Adding to the reports of the currency crisis in the Malayalam movie industry, director Sidharth Siva's latest movie, 'Sakhavu', starring Nivin Pauly has postponed its shoot due to the non-availability of currency notes.
As per the reports, a single day's shoot will cost as much as Rs 3,50,000. Since the producer cannot withdraw more than Rs 24,000 from the bank per week in the present situation, the crew has decided to halt the shooting until the currency crisis ends.
