Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Varun Gandhi has criticised police action against protesting candidates of UP teachers' test in Lucknow. In a tweet shared on Sunday, Varun, BJP MP from Uttar Pradesh's Pilibhit, sought to know why recruitments are not taking place when there are vacancies in the government.
"If there are vacancies and also eligible candidates, why is there no recruitment," he tweeted in Hindi along with a viral video in which policemen can be seen chasing and cane-charging the protesters.
