The minimum charge will be increased from Rs 8 to Rs 10 in the state. The charge of 90 paise per km will be increased to Re 1.
The cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will consider revision of bus fares.
The student concessions may also be increased.
Transport Minister Antony Raju had earlier said that bus fare rates would be revised after the return of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan from abroad.
