The Supreme Court Thursday refused to give a specific date for the hearing challenging the Karnataka HC order upholding the ban on wearing hijab in educational institutions in the state.
To the appellants who contended that exams were due and they were being prevented from entering school, Chief Justice of India N V Ramana said, “this has nothing to do with exams don’t sensitise the issue”.
