Polling is under way for three assembly seats Champawat in Uttarakhand, Brajrajnagar in Odisha and Thrikkakara in Kerala.
Outcome of Champawat is likely to seal fate of Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, who needs to win this poll to enter the state assembly, after he lost from Khatima constituency in assembly polls in February this year.
A total of 2.14 lakh people will cast their votes in 279 booths in the Odisha constituency. The election was necessitated by the death of MLA Kishore Mohanty in December last year.
