In a huge blow to the UDF, the police report on the vandalism of the regional office of Congress leader and MP, Rahul Gandhi, in Kalpetta stated that Mahatma Gandhi’s photo in the office was destroyed after the SFI activists left the place.
Earlier, CPM leaders, citing the visuals of the attack, had accused Congress workers of destroying the photo to give colour to the incident.
The police concluded on the issue of Gandhiji's photo based on the pictures of the office that were taken by the police photographer and the visuals shown by the media.
