To overcome the Reliance 'Jio effect', Idea cellular on last day launched two unlimited voice calling recharge packs. The new offer priced at Rs 148 and Rs 348 allow users to make calls free of any additional charges across the country.
Idea's move came after several telecom operators launched offers to compete with Reliance Jio's free voice calling plans. In the Rs 348 pack, users can make local and STD calls to any network in the country and will also get a 1 GB of 4G data.
On the other hand, in the Rs 148 recharge pack users can only make calls to Idea-to-Idea. They will also provide 4G users with 300 MB of mobile data.
