The 21st International Film Festival of Kerala on last day payed homage to artist Kalabhavan Mani, who passed away unexpectedly. But Mani's younger brother RLV Ramakrishnan on last day alleged that Kalabhavan Mani's family was not invited to the programme.
Earlier director Vinayan also alleged that the festival authorities were avoiding Kalabhavan Mani. However, refuting the allegations, Film Academy Chairman Kamal said that none of the family members of the late artists including Mani, ONV Kurup, Kaavalam were not invited for the event.
He also pointed that he called Jishnu's father since he share a special bond with Raghavan. Kamal also clarified that since Urvashi works in the film industry Kalpana's daughter came for felicitation event.
