
Chennai: The officials of the Income Tax Department are continuing their raids at the residence of the former Chief Secretary P.Rama Mohana Rao’s son Vivek’s house. The officials are collecting information regarding six companies that are under the ownership of Vivek.
According to a report, all these companies were started by Vivek after Rao became the Chief Minister’s Private Secretary in 2011. Rao himself was removed from the post of Chief Secretary a day after raid at his residence that yielded unaccounted money and disproportionate assets.
A raid at the house of Nagaraj IAS had yielded currencies to the tune of 1.5 crore rupees and two kilograms of gold.
