With their marriage, actors Dileep and Kavya Madhavan have broken a long-standing record in the Malayalam film industry.
Having paired opposite each other in 21 films, they have set the record for doing the most number of films together. This record was earlier held by the star couple Jayaram and Parvati.
Dileep and Kavya first appeared as hero and heroine in Lal Jose’s ‘Chandranudikkunna Dikkil’. They went on to do many more films together such as ‘Mizhirandilum’, ‘Meeshamadhavan’, ‘Sadhanandante Samayam’, ‘Vellaripravinte Changathi’, ‘Runway’ and many more.
Dileep was also Kavya’s first onscreen hero and the duo was last seen together in Adoor’s ‘Pinneyum’. The couple got married in a simple ceremony at Kochi on November 25.
