
Thiruvananthapuram: Additional Chief secretary Paul Anthony who landed in a nepotism row on Thursday handed over his resignation letter to Chief Secretary SM Vijayanand. Meanwhile Chief Secretary made it clear that a final decision have to be taken by government.
In his letter to the Chief Secretary, Paul Anthony said that it was the righteous thing to step down from the post, since a case was registered against him.
Chief Secretary on Thursday handed over the letter to Industries Minister AC Moideen. The Vigilance then filed an FIR against Paul Anthony as the third accused in connection with a nepotism case involving former Industries Minister EP Jayarajan.
