Chennai: As Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami is set to test his majority in the legislature today, opposition parties DMK, Congress and Muslim League said that they will vote against him.
DMK has 89 MLAs in the TN Legislative Assembly while Congress and Muslim League have eight and one, respectively. Out of the 234 members in the Assembly, O.Paneerselvam has the support of 11 AIADMK MLAs while the Chief Minister, belonging to Sasikala faction, claims the support of 123 MLAs except the Speaker.
