Palakkad: Government has initiated awareness campaigns in schools to prevent young students from falling prey to fake romantic relationships and their ramifications. The Education Department will conduct the programmes under the guidance of the Collector.
Counseling and short films for the students and special classes for teachers and parents will be arranged at every school. District Collector P. Marykutty said that a holistic approach is taken to tackle the issue and that the measures adopted were suggested during meetings convened to discuss the problem.
