Bengaluru: PDP leader Abdul Naser Mahdani on last day denied the reports that he helped Tamil Nadu government to catch notorious Indian brigand and dacoit Veerappan. In his Face Book post, Mahdani clarified that he was not the one who helped a DGP ranked police officer to trap Veerappan.
He also pointed that how the Jayalaithaa government tried all means to keep him behind the bars for such a long time. Describing the cruelties he faced during the jail term, Mahdani asked how such a government could seek his help.
Pointing that Jayalaithaa's police considered him even notorious than Veerappan, Mahdani ends his post by asking everyone to stop making more fuss about the issue.
