Lucknow: Sartaj, the father of the terror suspect Saifullah who was killed last day in Lucknow, said that he will not accept the dead body of his anti-national son.
"A traitor can't be our son. We are Indians, we were born here, our forefathers were born here. One who indulges in anti-national activities can't be our son... we won't accept his body," said Sartaj, a resident of Kanpur.
Saifullah, who was in his 20s, was allegedly a member of a newly formed ISIS cell which planted a low-intensity bomb in a train in Madhya Pradesh. The police received information of Saifullah’s Lucknow hideout from the other accused in the case. Though the police and the anti-terror squad tried to catch him alive, Saifullah refused to surrender and said he was “seeking martyrdom”.
