Thiruvananthapuram: In a shocking exclusive revealed by Mangalam television, the Kerala Fire and Rescue Service department has granted NOC to 99 buildings illegally, by blatantly floating the safety norms.
The report also said that the Technical Director gave permission to 99 buildings within 56 days for an amount of 10 Crore rupees. According to the reports, 87 flats, shopping complexes, five star hospital, multi-storied apartments were also included in the list.
More interestingly. the NOC's were granted during the demote time of DGP Loknath Behra and Jacob Thomas from the Fire and Rescue Services. During the tenure of UDF government, Jacob Thomas and Behra always made into headlines for their tough stand against building mafia.
