Thiruvananthapuram: The government removed Jacob Thomas from the post of Vigilance Director and gave the additional responsibility to DGP Loknath Behera.
Justice P.Ubaid had asked last week in the High Court why Jacob Thomas was not removed from his post.
Reports also suggested that the CPM party and public opinion are against Jacob Thomas and these were cited as reasons for his removal.
