New Delhi: MS Dhoni may seem like a silent sage who doesn't want to say many words but he will not hesitate if the situation demands it. During Rising Pune Supergiants opening IPL 2017 game against Mumbai Indians, Kevin Petersen's attempt to troll Dhoni ended up backfiring on him.
Peterson was speaking on the microphone to Dhoni's teammate team, Manjo Tiwari, who was in the slips. Peterson asked Manoj to tell Dhoni that he was a better golfer than him. Manoj duly conveyed the message to Dhoni. 'He's still my first test wicket', Dhoni immediately shot back drawing laughs from the commentary box, including Peterson.
Dhoni's reaction was a reference to 2011 Lord's test, when the Indian captain took over the bowling duties for some time. Though Peterson was initially adjudged caught out, it was later overruled by a video referral later in the match.
