Salalah: Around 415 expatriate nurses in Oman will likely lose their jobs following the country’s decision to replace expatriates with the local work force. Those likely to be laid off were reportedly given notices three months back.
The Ministry of Health has already completed interviewing 200 applicants from various universities in Oman to employ them as replacement for the expatriate work force.
