Islamabad: Social media platforms including Face Book, Whatsapp and Viber were acceptable in Pakistan as part of better medium for engaging in religious debate.
But today, the government pressure is building on these platforms to reveal the name of individuals or groups engaging in blasphemy or any other kind of illegal speech or discourse.
According to reports of 'The Guardian', the Face Book vice president, Joel Kaplan met with Khan to discuss Islamabad's demand that Face Book must either remove blasphemous content or will be blocked across Pakistan.
