San Francisc : Facebook's Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg is to testify before the US House of Commerce Committee regarding the company use and protection of user data.
Facebook received huge backlash after the firm's recent Cambridge Analytica scam, in which personal data from 87 mn user's ended up in the hands of an outside research firm that worked with the Trump campaign.
Zuckerberg will testify on Wednesday, April 11 at 10 am. When Facebook was asked to testify in front of Congress earlier, regarding the influence in 2016 presidential election, the tech giant sent its top lawyers Colin Stretch , instead of Zukerberg.
