Karachi: At least 52 people were killed and a 100 injured when an explosion took place at a Sufi shrine in Pakistan’s Balochistan province. Worshipers were performing the dhamal-the trance-like dance-when the bomb hit the Shah Noorani shrine.
The Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack but no confirmations have been made yet. This is the third attack in Balochistan since last August.
