Self-styled godman beats 37-year-old woman to death to ‘cure’ headache'

a shocking incident, a self-styled godman allegedly killed a 37-year-old woman in order to cure her headache in Karnataka’s Hassan district. The incident came to light on Wednesday morning after the victim succumbed to injuries around 03:30 am the next day. 

According to the police, the victim has been identified as Parvathi, a native or Gowdarahalli in Hassan district. 

In her complaint to the police, the victim's daughter said that her mother had been complaining of headache for two months. Parvathi was also taken to different hospitals for treatment but the doctor said that she did not have any problem.
