The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) and the Gujarat Anti-Terror Squad (ATS) on Sunday apprehended a Pakistani fishing boat with nine crew members on board and recovered an unspecified quantity of narcotics from them on Sunday night.
Based on intelligence inputs, the Coast Guard and ATS intercepted the boat ‘Al Haj’which had ventured into Indian waters. The boat attempted to return to Pakistan after throwing away several packets of narcotics into the sea. The packets were recovered and the ICG boat began hot pursuit of the Pakistani vessel
