Prominent actors from Kollywood and offered support to the South Indian actress who was assaulted on Friday night in her car.
The Mollywood film fraternity had also organised protest meetings in support of the actress and appreciated her courage.
Bollywood actor, director and producer Farhan Akhtar tweeted, “Shocked to hear about the horrifying ordeal to young actress (name concealed) went through. Wish her strength to get over it and hope all the morons are caught.”
Samantha Ruth Prabhu wrote, “The bravest young actress (name concealed) . Will be constantly checking my timeline,waiting to read that you're back in action . The most love to you”
Actor Vishal appreciated her courage to go public about the incident and wondered if this could happen to an actress, what it would be like for the ordinary citizens.
