Washington: A 64-year-old American in Florida tried to burn down a convenience store owned by Indian-Americans, mistaking them for Arabs. The accused, Richard Lloyd, assumed the store owners were Muslims and were mad at them for ‘what they are doing in the Middle East’.
The accused was arrested by the police and he reportedly told them that he "was doing his part for America." The incident happens two weeks after a Navy veteran killed an Indian engineer in Kansas.
